Can You Beat the Record?

The record Winning Cones: The sugar cone is 23-1/4 inches long. The Coulter weighs 4lbs 15oz and is 16 inches long. Get your hiking shoes on and find that winning Sugar cone or Coulter cone and you could could be champ!

  Sorry if coulters are considered "green" by judges they will be ineligible.
 
Entries must be delivered to the Festival by Noon on Saturday, October 12th. The Largest Pine Cone Contest has its own booth to the left of the performance stage.




This year if you beat the record Two Grand Prizes
$1,200 worth
include:

1. $1,150 worth of lodging from Pine Rose Cabins*see restrictions
2. $100 gift certificate for Jensen's Finest Foods
3. $50 gift certificate to "The Grill" restaurant in Twin Peaks

  If no Pine Cones beat the record there is a first prize for longest sugar and heaviest coulter given worth $750

First Prize includes:
1. $650 worth of lodging from Pine Rose Cabins*see restrictions
2. $100 gift certificate for Jensen's Finest Foods
3. $50 gift certificate to "The Grill" restaurant in Twin Peaks

Record still stands so keep looking! All winning Pine Cones become property of Pine Rose Cabins.

*Lodging  good for the following cabins:  Alpine Lodge, Winter Ski Chalet or Smokey Bear Ranger must be continual days not available for holidays, June, July, August, September or February. Must be redeemed within one year from date issued. All taxes are the winner responsibility.


Pine Cone Olympics


Every year the Pine Cone Olympics is a BIG HIT! We had children as young as 2 and adults as old as 87 enter in the Olympics!

What amazing thing can you make out of a Pine Cone?










Design you own charming pine cone craft! It can be humorous, beautiful, abstract or natural. 

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Prizes will be awarded in three age groups:

6th grade & under, 7th thru 12th grades, and Adults.

Entries must be delivered to the Festival at the Senior/Community Center building of the Twin Peaks Recreation Complex by  Noon on Saturday, October 12th.
